Selecting Components

After selecting your configuration, order all required components, including:

  • Battery (appropriate chemistry and capacity)
  • Antenna with the correct connector
  • Power switch
  • Mounting hardware (screws, standoffs, enclosure)
  • Optional accessories, such as sensors, GPS modules, or displays

Antenna and RF Connectors

⚠️ Important: Verify your antenna cable and connector type before ordering.
Many LoRa radios use U.FL → SMA pigtails. SMA and RP-SMA (reverse polarity) are NOT compatible, even though they appear similar.
Another common RF connector on compact boards is MHF4, which is smaller and not interchangeable with U.FL.
